Theater der Dinge
Theater der Dinge is one of the most important international festivals for contemporary puppet and object theater in Germany. With a changing thematic focus, it reflects trends and tendencies in the genre, exploring border areas and focusing on experiments at the interfaces with performance, visual arts, dance, digital art, or music. Productions, installations and exhibitions with idiosyncratic aesthetic quality and urgency of content are invited. In 2026, it will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special edition on the theme “The world as a model”.
